Troubleshooting Mismatched MPNs

View and correct mismatched product identifiers so your site stays well merchandised.

Navigate to this by going to POS Sync > Process Items > MPN/GTIN Mismatch

  • This report will only appear if you've changed the MPN or GTIN for an existing item in your POS system.
    • This is not recommended, it's far better to create a new item instead.
  • The report shows the MPN/GTIN from your POS, the MPN/GTIN that was mapped, as well as what our library's MPN/GTIN for the same item.
    • The best course of action is to delete the item in SmartEtailing. If the item continues to appear and cause issues, you will need to correct in your POS system to remedy the issue.
